- Get your message to 000’s quickly utilising social media
The exciting thing about social media is that most people are not using it correctly and therefore not getting the results they possibly could. How exciting that is for someone who uses it to educate build trust, to build brand awareness, to attract new clientele. Suddenly you are marketing to 000’s instead of 1 at a time.
- Sign up for email newsletters from the experts so you can work smarter not harder
I’m a big fan of working smarter not harder so wherever possible I look at how others are doing things and rejig it to work for you and your products and services. Read lots, jump on email newsletters of people who are achieving the goals you are aiming for. - Do things differently to your competitors
I was talking to a divorce lawyer the other day who was finding it difficult to get new clients through the door. I asked what methods they were currently using to attract these clients – ANSWER: Word of mouth and referrals right now. MY ANSWER: That’s what everyone else in your field is doing too so why don’t you look at other avenues such as collaborating with people who already have your database, writing articles on LinkedIn, so potential clients know you exist, write a blog, jump on Facebook, share it in the business groups and let people know to share information with any friends who may be in this situation right now!!! These are just a few things you could be doing to stand out against from your competitors and bring in new clients.
I have to share a little secret with you. Even as a child I wanted to be different, I thought differently (I was blessed with so much, there is only positivity to share), I acted differently (loved telling wild stories, making up words and making people laugh), I inspired differently (it was important for me to be inclusive and allow others to flourish from young). We all have our gifts and I was very blessed to be given creative, out of the box thinking.
